Live or Die on the API?

1 min read

A well-documented API can help make a sale for your product/project/platform and etc. Even though there may not be a financial transaction (as it may be open source), the consumer of the API is paying by using their precious time. If there are multiple options offering similar functionality, and time is limited, why would someone not pick the option that is best documented? Great documentation can’t make up for a crap product, but Great Documentation can make a great product shine.
