Figma’s journey to TypeScript

While I’m not an active paying user of Figma (so I have little experience in the app), I would not hesitate to say that their app is a very impressive technical feat of functionality and performance in the browser.

Less shocking than they had a proprietary programming language is that they write the WASM code in C++. They use Rust for other services in production — well, they did in 2018. :)
